ABOUT SHADY LAINE
Meet Shady Laine, a talented singer-songwriter hailing from the beautiful Wenatchee Valley. With a passion for music that knows no bounds, she effortlessly traverses various genres, including Classic Country, Americana, Alternative Indie-Folk, and everything in between.
Shady's musical journey began during her early teenage years when she found herself immersed in her father's studio, recording a remarkable tribute album dedicated to the legendary Johnny Cash. As fate would have it, she also had the extraordinary opportunity to share the stage with her parents' band, Lynus and Lucy & Gideon's Daughter, captivating audiences at the renowned Apple Blossom festival.
It wasn't until June of 2022 that Shady experienced her first solo performance, armed with just her guitar, at the esteemed Numerica Performing Arts Center. Opening for the widely acclaimed new wave/post-punk band Modern English, renowned for their timeless hits "I Melt With You" and "Hands Across the Sea," her captivating performance left a lasting impact.
Inspired by this milestone, Shady embarked on a creative journey of her own, pouring her heart and soul into crafting original compositions. Currently, she finds herself diligently working in the studio, carefully crafting her highly anticipated debut album that promises to showcase her unique musical prowess.
